Word of the rector


By the start of the new year 2016, thirty two years have been passed since the establishment of Emir Abdelkader University for Islamic Sciences on August 4th 1984 and so it remains one of the minarets of the irradiant science and knowledge, thought and spirit not only in Algeria but all over the world regarding the reputation and credibility earned since this course. The development witnessed by Emir Abdelkader University for Islamic Sciences from one year to another was thanks to its scientific message with a national and global dimensions which bears the responsibility of the generations'formation in the scientific and spiritual fields according to its methodologies and specialities which serves the high human values that must proceed more for the best. The continuance of realizing the university aims is a responsibility that all the teachers and students, employers and approved social partners must bear and which are

.Provide a scientific formation for the students according to our civilizational heritage which fits the necessities of the era*

.The contribution in the scientific knowledges and the development of the scientific research*

.Enhance the scientific spirit and take care of the Islamic heritage in Algeria-

* For, we will work hard to provide all scientific and administrative conditions for all the initiatives which may realize these noble aims to make from our university a scientific reference in all fields and specialties, this is not far if the efforts meet especially that the reputation and place of the university has became known beyond the borders of the homeland via its contributions in the international conferences and the international scientific symposiums, also via the reputation of its teachers, its rigidity, methodology and programmes also through its speech in the Arab and Islamic associations, bodies and organizations

This scientific and pedagogical development must be accompagned by a structural expansion as the LMD system( formation in the licence, master and PhD) seeks to a qualitative formation that takes into consideration the relation between the university and economic and social environment as it cohere with the mentioned aims which the university of Emir Abdelkader seeks to realize, so the achievement of the lmd philosophy either by teaching or supervising or by company requires structures and facilities which the university has achieved since its foundation until today It was constructed from three institutes which have been developed into two faculties, then to three faculties and we seek to expance to more than that as we look for increasing the number of pedagogical structures and to receive as soos as possible the annexation of Ali Mendjeli and the facility of the scientific laboratories which includes laboratories The university has achieved a big expansion by creating a laboratory of languages and receiving the annexation of Djenan Zaitoun which became the headquarters of the faculty of Shari’a and economy
